Obituary of Richard "Dick" Hunt

Richard “Dick” A. Hunt, Sr., 82, of Loretto, TN, passed away July 24, 2018. Mr. Hunt was a career carpenter and retired from the Lawrence County School System Maintenance Department. He was also a member of the Catholic faith, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a volunteer fireman.

Mr. Hunt is survived by:

                Wife:    Wilma Lee Hammond Hunt

                Sons:     Richard A. Hunt, Jr. and wife Mary Ruth

                               Randall Lee Hunt and wife Carolyn Jean

                                 Reginald Dane Hunt and wife Karen

                Daughter: Lisa Renee’ Hunt Ferguson and husband Alan

                (10) Grandchildren and (15) great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Odell Hunt and Olivia Anna Olson Hunt.

                Visitation will be Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home with the Rosary Service at 7:00 P.M. The funeral will be Friday at 10:00 A.M. at Loretto Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Paul Nguyen officiating. Burial will follow in Loretto Memorial Gardens.

                Pallbearers will be Jeremy Scott Hunt, Anthony Robert Hunt, William Chad Hunt, Matthew Ferguson, Daniel Hunt, and Nathan Hunt.

               In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Loretto.
