David Dorson Trueblood, 71, of Killen, passed away December 3, 2011, at his residence. He attended Greenhill Baptist Church, was a U. S. Air Force Veteran, an Electronic Engineer with the Air Force/Civil Service, and a member of American Legion Post #146, an active member of the Honor Guard, the Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge, and Eagles.
Survivors include:
Wife: Cynthia Trueblood
Son: Michael Trueblood
Step-son: Dan Lilly
Daughters: Lavonne Clifford and Sonya Vento
Step-daughter: Regina Bailey
Brothers: Roger Trueblood and Jon Trueblood
(5) Grandchildren and (7) Step Grandchildren
Preceded in death by:
Parents: Dorson and Wanda Trueblood
Sister: Ruth
Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 6. From 6:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 5:00pm at the funeral home with Bro. Gregg Woodard officiating and with full Military Honors. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.
