Jacky Harold Thigpen, 73, of Florence, AL, passed away June 12, 2018 at ECM Hospital. Mr. Thigpen was a retired carpenter for Tennessee Valley Authority.

 

                Mr. Thigpen is survived by:

 

                                Son: Tyler Thigpen (Katherine)

                                Daughters: Amanda Jackson (Jerrod)

                                                     Angela Rogers

                                Sisters: Lorene Pettus

                                                Dorothy Vinson

                                (7) Grandchildren and (1) Great-grandchildren

 

                He was preceded in death by:

               

                                Parents: Albert Marion Thigpen and Clevie Lular Davis Thigpen

                                Brother: Ralph Thigpen

                                Sisters: Juanita Williams

                                                Ruth Morrison

                                                Betty Grossheim

 

                Visitation will be Friday, June 15, 2018 from 12:00-2:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery.

 

                In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made towards the funeral expense.

 

 

                Greenhill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
