Obituary of Alvin Atwell

Alvin Louis (Al) Atwell, 73, of Iron City, TN, died at home December 2nd following a lengthy illness. He was an Army veteran and retired from Cooks Pest Control. He enjoyed being "Cookie the Cop" at many parades and public events. He was a member of Iron City Church of Christ.
He is survived by brothers Mack, Dan, and Elmer; sisters Louise Bogus, Mary Boyett, and Shelia Clemmons.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 4, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday at the funeral home at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Alvin Alston officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Iron City Church of Christ building fund.
