J.C. Owen, 94, of Florence, AL, passed away December 2, 2011. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Lone Cedar Church of Christ.
Survivors include:
Son: Dennis Owen and wife Patsy
Daughter: Virginia Behel and husband R.L.
Brother: Jesse Owen and wife Sue
Sister: Addie Snow Pitts
(6) Grandchildren, (11) Great-grandchildren, and (2) Great-greatgrandchildren
Numerous Nieces and Nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents, James C. and Lena Inman Owen; his wife, Kattie A. Owen; and by two brothers, A.D. Owen and Clarence Owen.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 4, 2011 from 12:30-2:30 P.M. at Lone Cedar Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at the church at 2:30 P.M. with Bro. Tim Grigsby officiating. Burial will be in Lone Cedar Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Behel, Doyle Behel, Casey Behel, Daryl Behel, Anthony Owen, and Marty Owen. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews.
