Obituary of Alice Marie Wallace

Alice Marie Wallace, 64, of Greenhill, AL, passed away January 18, 2011, at UAB Hospital of a sudden illness. She was the retired owner of TNT Bar-B-Q Restaurant. She was a member of the Lone Cedar Church of Christ and very active in the lady's work at the church. Survivors include: Husband: (Jerry) Paul Wallace Son: Johnny Wallace Daughters: Paula Wallace Gilliland and husband David Sherry Risner Brothers: Maurice McGill and wife Sue Charles McGill Sister: Betty McGill Henson and husband Ronald Grandchildren: Chris Davis, Christian Gilliland, Austin Gilliland, Jay Wallace, Blair Hines, Kayla Risner, and Michael Risner Great-grandchildren: Jacob Davis and Brenton Hines She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Earl and Lorine Lindsey McGill. Visitation will be Thursday, January 20, from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Lone Cedar Church of Christ. The funeral service will be Friday, January 21 at 1:00 P.M. at Lone Cedar Church of Christ with Bro. Tim Grigsby and Bro. Brad Adcock officiating. Casket will lie in state from 12:00-1:00 P.M. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Evan Grigsby, Tyler Grigsby, Blake Harris, Joel Creasy, Roy Burks, and Blake Curtis. Honorary pallbearers will be Ford Peden, the Elders and Deacons of Lone Cedar Church of Christ, Joseph Holt, the football coaches and players at Rogers School, Donnie Wallace Jr., and Michael Simpson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to : Alice's Angels c/o Lone Cedar Church of Christ 10000 CR 47 Florence, AL 35634 Or to the Leukemia Association Greenhill Funeral Home directing.
