Johnnie Harland Odell, 75, of Lexington, AL, went home to be with the Lord on November 25, 2011. He was retired from Ford Motor Company and was a member of the Grace Christian Baptist Church. Survivors include: His wife of 54 years, Carolyn Stanfield Odell Son: Johnny Odell (Becky) Daughter: Katrina Gray (Chris) Grandchildren: Erika Odell Ladner (Jacob), Kayla Odell, Julie Odell, Emily Odell, Rachel Gray, and Sarah Gray He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Pauline Davis Odell; and by his sister, Bobbie Nell Odell Kelley. Visitation will be Saturday, November 26, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Grace Christian Baptist Church. The funeral service will be Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at the church with Bro. Tommy Ruple and Bro. Tom Sibley. He will lie in state from 1:00 -2:00 P.M. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dickey Michael, Keith Michael, Ronnie Davis, Allen Morgan, Tommy Stanfield, and Phil Newton. The family wishes to thank Hospice of North Alabama, Grace Christian Baptist Church and Grace Life Baptist Church Music Dept. We appreciate all the calls, food and prayers of our family and friends.
