Obituary of Rutledge Hine

James Rutledge Hine, 87, of Killen, AL, passed away January 19, 2018. Mr. Hine was retired from Murray Ohio Manufacturing and was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War Era. He was a member of Greenhill First Baptist Church.

                Mr. Hine is survived by:

                                Sons:     Todd Hine and wife Marcie

                                                Tim Hine and wife Deanna

                                Brother: B.T. Hine

                                Sister: Elaine Hine

                                Grandchildren: Ben Hine, Amy Henson, Katie Kimbrell, & Lindy Larsen

                                Great-grandchildren: Kinsley and Gage Henson and Baby girl Kimbrell coming soon

                                Numerous nieces and nephews & Numerous loved Glass family relatives

                He was preceded in death by his parents Charles F. Hine and Alma Powell Hine, wife Earline Glass Hine, twin brother Fulton Hine, brothers Luther, Willie, Oliver, Johnny, and Homer Hine, and sister Reba Johns.  

                Visitation will be Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 1-2:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Gregg Woodard officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Leoma, TN with full military honors.

                In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
