 James Hillard Davis, 82, of Florence, passed away June 23, 2017 at ECM Hospital in
Florence.  He was retired from Limestone Correctional Facility and a member of North Carolina Church of Christ.  He served in the United States Air Force.

 Survivors include:
  Longtime companion, Jenny Henry, and her family
  Son:  James Hillard Davis, Jr. (Patty)
  Daughters: Robin Davis Young (Vance)
    Lori Davis Curtis (Richard)
  Grandchildren:  Katie, Riley, Thomas, and John (Candace)

 He was preceded in death by:
  Parents: Haggard Jackson Davis and Maude Grimes Davis Copeland
  Brother: Charles Davis
  Sister:  Frances Davis Thompson


 Visitation will be Sunday, June 25, from 12:30-2:00pm at the North Carolina Church of Christ.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm with Bro. Don Williams officiating. Burial will be in North Carolina Cemetery with Military Honors.

 In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the North Carolina Cemetery Fund, or the North Carolina Fellowship Building.

 Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
