Hey pops I miss you. This is the only way I knew of to let you know how much. One of my greatest memories of you was in that boat fishing. Being taught to by the best. Lol you had to be the best pops. You're the only man I ever seen bring a fish in with just a tangled mess of line. Hook dangling beside that Ole catfishs lips. I miss you so much. Our last talk was in that hospital room alone that night. You told me how much you loved me and I'd always be your daughter in law in your heart. Pops its hard knowing I'll never see your sweet face and have talks with you again. That's why I figured I'd have one here one last time. Before even this is gone. My hearts so broken pops into so may tiny pieces. Its been 6 months, anniversary is fixing to pass, birthdays after that. Where does someone so lost and broken start putting herself back together I've asked myself. Then your words come to mind. Turn to Jesus he's always there. I do and I have. Like you once said times will help heal the pain. Pop watch out for us down here too. We or at least me for certain and Devin precious Devin. We need your guidance still. You rest easy up there pops. I hope your mansions on the river banks. And you have plenty bait and poles and a simple all weld fishing boat. Don't let them boys out fish you now. Rest in Heaven pops as I'm sure this is our last conversation like this. Pops all I ever wanted was to be accepted. And one things for sure you did. Thank you for that. I love you. Enjoy life on the other side. Who knows I may see you soon. I pray God gives me at least as many years as you had. Until we meet again on that beautiful shore. I'll be missing you so much.
