Obituary of Oletha Liverett

~~Oletha Hunt Liverett, 85, passed away on May 5, 2017. Her visitation will be Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 3:00 P.M. with Bro. Terry Herston officiating. Burial will be in Nebo Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery on Hwy 101 in Lexington, AL, where she was also a member. Pallbearers will be Ben Barnett, Chris Jones, Andrew Barnett, Ethan Liverett, Carl Hunt, and Larry Hunt.

 The family is grateful to the wonderful staff for all the care she received while living at Country Cottage in Lawrenceburg, TN and especially the love and concern shown to her and her family the last few days. They also would like to send special thanks to Caris Hospice for all their care.

 Oletha was preceded in death by her husband Johnnie E. Liverett. They lived a long and happy life together in the Whitehead Community near Rogersville, AL. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Donnie Hunt and Franklin Hunt and sisters Eunice White, Ada Haney, and Ovella White.

 Oletha is survived by one brother Kenneth Hunt and wife Phyllis of Chesapeake, VA. She is also survived by daughters Annette Barnett (Ronnie) and Linda Jones (Doug), son Curtis (Karon), sister-in-law Dora Grisham of Rogersville, grandchildren Ben (Natalie), Chris (Rachel), Andrew (Annie), Katie (Jason), Valerie, and Ethan, 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made either to the Alzheimer’s Association 2151 Highland Ave. South- Suite 210 Birmingham, AL 35205 or to Country Cottage Assisted Living 469 Weakley Creek Rd Lawrenceburg, TN 38464.
