Opal Lurene Hannah Johns, 92, of Florence, AL, passed away April 4, 2017 at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. Mrs. Johns was a homemaker and member of Shiloh Church of Christ.
Mrs. Johns is survived by;

Linda Johns Barnett (Steve) of Killen
Brothers: Louie Hannah of Florence
Johnny Hannah of Athens
Travis Hannah of Florence
Sisters: Marguerite Hines of Florence
‘ Marvoline Myrick of Florence
Grandchildren: Todd Twilley of Tallahassee, FL
Lanisha Barnett May (Brandon) of Rogersville
Drew Barnett of Birmingham
Great-grandchildren: Tyler Twilley of Tallahassee
Brantley & Connor May of Rogersville
She was preceded in death by:
Husband: Elvin Lee Johns
Son: Rayburn Johns
Parents: Hershel Hannah and Willie Mae Wilburn Hannah
Visitation will be Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at Shiloh Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 P.M. with Bro. Tim Grigsby and Bro. Howell Bigham officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Darrell Twilley, Steve Barnett, Todd Twilley, Drew Barnett, Tyler Twilley, Brandon May. Honorary pallbearers will be Brantley May and Connor May.
The family would like to thank the Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home staff for their devoted care.
