Obituary of Sue Nelson

Sue Edna Robertson Nelson, 79, of Florence, AL, went to be with her Lord on March 30, 2017. Mrs. Nelson was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal faith. She was born in Loretto, TN. Mrs. Nelson was a wonderful Christian lady and a Prayer Warrior. She was a long time member of the First United Pentecostal Church on Broadway Street and a current member of Experience Church/Lighthouse Church. Mrs. Nelson is survived by: Sons: Ricky Nelson Mike Nelson (Teresa) Daughter: Debbie Newborn (Alex) Brothers: Edward Robertson (Faye) Olen Robertson (Polly) Sisters: Gladys Gallien (Colin) Carolyn Watkins Tricia St. Romain (Dwight) Darlene Bogus (Jerry) Grandchildren: Hollie Garner (Mark), Wesley Nelson (Kacie), Josh Nelson (Tiana), Orion Newborn, Trent Nelson, Zak Newborn and Erin Mangum Great-grandchildren: Summer Garner, Nicolas Garner, & Heidi Nelson She was preceded in death by: Husband: William (Bill) Nelson Parents: Noah Daniel Robertson & Elizabeth Sandy Robertson Brother: Leon Robertson Niece: Janet Robertson Nephew: Dale Robertson Visitation will be Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 6:00- 9:00 P.M. at Experience Church on CR 47 . The funeral service will be Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at the church with Jeff Street officiating. The casket will lie in state at the church from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Loretto, TN. The family would like to thank Alacare Hospice, Susanne, Stephanie, and Julie for all their help, love, and support during these last few days.
