James Lawrence Vines, 71, of Killen, AL, passed away January 25, 2017 at ECM Hospital. Mr. Vines was a retired farmer and a Christian. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the American Legion, and also a member of American Game Bird Association (AGBA).
Mr. Vines is survived by:
Sons: Jimmy, Brandon, Shane, and Tony Vines
Daughters: Stacey Ritch (Todd) & Shelly Hart (Steven)
Sisters: Linda Gieske & Patty Estes
(15) Grandchildren and (6) Great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by parents Willian Leon Vines and Martha Smith Vines; brother Luther Daniel Vines; and sister Francis Hill.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 12-2:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. Military honors will follow the service at the funeral home.
