Obituary of Thomas Arthur Johnson

Thomas Arthur Johnson, 82, of St. Joseph, TN passed away peacefully and surrounded by those he loved on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at ECM Hospital in Florence, AL. Thomas was born in St. Joseph, TN and attended St. Joseph Elementary School, Loretto High School and graduated from Larimore Business College. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, worked for TVA and retired from NASA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Roxie Tidwell Johnson and sisters Exalene Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson Wilcoxson. Thomas is survived by his beloved sister Jean Johnson Hill, two nieces, Linda Hill and Meloni Hill, a nephew, Kenny Hill and Kenny's wife Sandie Hill, great-niece, Daemeon Talley and great-great niece and nephew, Trinity and John Rivers. He is also survived by his sister Elizabeth's children, Bobbie Wilcoxson Caudle and her children, Mary Wilcoxson Fusch and her children Richard Wilcoxson and his wife Jane and their son. Other special family members that survive "Uncle Thomas" are Alice Mancini McGlynn and her daughters Marissa and Rachel. Thomas leaves behind many close and dear friends. Out of respect, love and dedication to Thomas, the family will be honoring his wishes for no services. Greenhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
