Alvin Clyde Stutts, 91, of Killen, AL, passed away January 11, 2017 at home. Mr. Stutts was a retired heavy equipment operator and member of Atlas Church of Christ. He was a member of Greenhill Masonic Lodge and a 60 Year plus member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 320. Mr. Stutts was a United States Army Veteran of World War II where he served as a military policeman. Mr. Stutts is survived by: Wife: Frances Springer Stutts Sons: Steven Stutts (Shellea) & Gregory Stutts Sister: Jane Goins Grandchildren: Stephanie Stutts, Angela Rager, Shamon Stutts, Trosha Thornton, & Jesse Stutts Great-grandchildren: Krisslynn, Kameron, Gage, Chance, Hazley, & Ian He was preceded in death by: Parents: Daniel Jacob Stutts & Blanch Octavia Phillips Stutts Brothers: Daniel Jacob Stutts ("DJ") & Aaron Stutts Sisters: Sylvia Holt & Elsie Searcey There will be a graveside service held for Mr. Stutts at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 13, 2017 at Atlas Cemetery with Steve Shelton officiating. There will be full military honors at the graveside. Pallbearers will be members of his union, family, and friends. Greenhill Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
