Hassell Daniel Green, 86, of Lexington, AL, passed away October 12, 2023 at NAMC. Hassell was retired from International Mineral & Chemicals as a Supervisor and was a member of Green’s Chapel Methodist Church.
Hassell is survived by:
Wife: Hazel Cole Green
Sons: Mike Green (Kim) and Jeff Green (Tammy)
Granddaughters: Whitney Sexton (Justin), Jessica Watson (Zach), Madison Adams (Chris), and Bethany Brown (Austin)
(8) Great-grandchildren
Brothers: Hershel Green & Bobby Leon Green
Sisters: Elizabeth Davis and Shellie Thigpen
He was preceded in death by:
Parents: Luther Chism Green and Myrtle Mae Scott Green
Brothers: W.A., Terry Don, Arthur, and Wayne Green
Sister: Dora Matthews
Visitation will be Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 12:00 P.M. with Bro. Mike Butler officiating. Burial will be in Richardson Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Justin Sexton, Zach Watson, Cole Marks, Chris Adams, Austin Brown, and Clayton Green. Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
