James Allen Smith, 19, of Greenhill, AL, passed away at his home surrounded by family after fighting a long courageous battle, on October 11, 2023. Allen was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ and a graduate of Rogers High School Class of 2022.
Allen is survived by:
Parents: James Wade Smith and Tina Marie Phillips Smith
Sisters: Danielle Bogus (Ross) and Harley Smith
Very Special Niece: Rylan Purser
Grandparents: Jimmy & Ellen Smith and Billy Phillips
Loving Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins
He was preceded in death by:
Grandmother: Oma Phillips
Visitation will be Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 6-8:00 P.M. at Mt. Zion Church of Christ. The funeral service will be Friday at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Zion Church of Christ with Sonny Owens, Derrick Sumerel, and Baron Vander Maas officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 1-2:00 P.M. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Devan Willis, Jasper Dunn, Brody Gooch, Dillon Rhodes, Derrick Kyles, and Caden Weems. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Kyles and Doug Moomaw.
