Frances Lefan Newman, 88, of Killen, AL, passed away January 22, 2017 at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. Mrs. Newman was born in Iron City, TN and was retired from Chrysler. She was a member of Atlas Church of Christ.
Mrs. Newman is survived by son Michael Newman and wife Deborah; (2) grandchildren; and sister Wanda Powers. She was preceded in death by parents Matthew Allen Lefan and Rachel Hardwick Lefan; husband Frank Newman; and sister Allene Hurst.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 P.M. with Bro. Miles Stutts officiating. Burial will be in Loretto Memorial Gardens.
Greenhill Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
