Ronnie Lane Jones, 68, of Lexington, AL, passed away at his home on June 20, 2026. Ronnie was a steelworker at Kaiser and a member of the Baptist faith.
Ronnie is survived by:
Wife: Tolonda Smitherman Jones
Sons: Chad Jones (Kristi) & Shane Jones
Daughter: Brandy Naylor (Allen)
Brothers: Randy Jones (Sharon) & Marty Jones (Kim)
Sister: Karen Morrow (Tony) & Tammy Jones
Grandchildren: Kolton, Kaden, and Kamden Naylor & Brady Pettus
He was preceded in death by:
Parents: Hubert Bennett Jones and Marcella Pettus Jones
Brother: Dennis Jones
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 P.M. with Tony Morrow officiating. Burial will be in Pettus Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Simonson, Dylan Hill, Kolton Naylor, Kaden Naylor, Kamden Naylor, Scott Jones, and Brady Pettus.
