Ronnie was always the kindest hearted man, another dad to me when I was growing up. There are too many memories to mention just one. From him picking up me and Brandy from cheer practice in that old #3 Goodwrench truck because he loved Dale Earnhardt so much. I remember when we were rebellious teens and he found out we were experimenting with cigarettes, him sitting us in the living room and making us smoke one after another, in hopes it would make us sick and turn us against it. I remember us crawling out of Brandy's room and inching toward the living room to sneak up on him in his recliner, then silently busting out laughing when he scared us away with either a loud snort from snoring or a pass of gas. Most importantly, I can remember when he came into the room to share the song about loving Jesus that he wrote on his guitar and the way he told us he loved us before he went to bed. I loved him and he loved me. He will always have special place in my heart when I think back to my childhood. He will be missed by more people than he realized.
