Obituary of Jim Clemmons, Jr.

Jimmy “Jim” Dean Clemmons, Jr., 64, of Killen, passed away June 13, 2026, at his residence. He was the seed production manager for Clemmons & Hamner Seed Inc. Jim served as ranch manager for the Seed Farms Registered Angus Herd and as co-owner of Danglin C Cattle. Jim was most passionate about his grandchildren – Rowe and Coltley, who each pursue interests they inherited from him. He loved watching Rowe participate in football and baseball. He was ecstatic about Coltley reaching the finals in Little Britches rodeo. He was also a member of North Carolina Church of Christ. Foster & Willie Wakefield Foster Visitation will be on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 11:00am – 1:00pm, at North Carolina Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm, at the church, with Brian Smith, Bro. Tim Grigsby, & Greg Hamner officiating. Burial will be at North Carolina Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Rowe Clemmons, Benson Hamner, Chandler Kelley, John Clemmons, Taylor Scott & Zeth Tays. Honorary pallbearers will be: Barry Clemmons, Scott Clemmons, Vaughn Henry, Greg Michael, Randy Wilson, Kevin Chandler, Blake Chandler, Keith Arnold, Mark Carrol, Dennis Wiley, Carl Hamm, Steve Poss & Kevin McLaughlin.
