Obituary of Beverly Faye Wallace

Beverly Faye Wallace of St. Florian, AL passed away on April 17, 2026, at the age of 61. Beverly was born on October 20, 1964, to Morris and Betty Faye Gray in Lauderdale County, AL. After graduating from Rogers High School in 1983, she went on to earn her cosmetology and instructor’s license at Ray’s Beauty School. Beverly married Donnie Wallace on April 12, 1985. After a short time in Texas, they returned to Florence, where their family—and Beverly’s heart—were. Her favorite things included camping, going to the beach, visiting Disney World, and decorating the most beautiful Christmas trees you could ever imagine. She was also the queen of coupons and store rain checks, and those closest to her have countless fond memories of these times together. She spent many years caring for her cousin, Vicki, who was more like a sister and best friend. Vicki said Beverly anticipated her needs before she even knew them herself. Beverly was the best Wii player and bonfire starter for all the kids in the family who came to spend spring breaks. She always kept the food ready, the brownies topped with chocolate chips, and the coolers stocked with soft drinks. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Betty Faye Gray; and her grandparents, Sel and Vera Cabler Behel, and Arthur and Etta Gray. She is survived by her husband, Donnie, and many loving family members, with a special place in her heart for Chris, whom she said was the closest thing to a son she ever had, and his wife and daughter, Leslie and Indiana. A Celebration Of Life will be held for Beverly on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at the Greenhill Senior Citizen’s Center.
