Billy Ray Pierce, 74, of Killen, passed away at Glenwood Center in Florence. He was a retired salesman, a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church and a United States Army Veteran. Billy Ray was a loving father & Paw Paw, an avid Alabama fan, and loved hunting & fishing. He loved the Lord and reading his bible daily. Survivors include: Sons: Shawn Pierce (Sadonna) & Todd Pierce (Tiffany) Daughter: Dara Pettus (Ashley) Love of his life, Linda Pierce Sister: Brenda Krieger Grandchildren: Joseph, Darby, Rylan, Cooper, Braxton & Hudson Great grandchildren: Hazel Jo, Harrison & Elsie Margaret Preceded in death by: Father: Ray Pierce Mother: Vellaree Mitchell Pierce Jackson Visitation will be on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 1:00 – 3:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:00pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Ashley Pettus officiating. Burial will be at First Baptist Killen Cemetery with military honors. Pallbearers will be: Cooper Pierce, Rylan Pettus, Joseph Hardwick, Skylar Shepherd, Josh O’Kelley & Joshua O’Kelley. Honorary pallbearers will be: John Hawk, David Melton, Terry Craft & Alex Crittenden.
