Please share a memory of Benny to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Benny Ray Beavers Jr., age 37, of Lima, Ohio passed away in Cleveland, Ohio on March 13th, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, known for his strength, generosity, and kindness. He loved his dogs and cat and found comfort in their presence. Benny could always be found with a controller in his hand, lost in his favorite video games, finding joy and connection in the worlds and stories they offered. His competitive streak came out during family board games and he was always up for doing arts, crafts and puzzles. His love of travel took him all over the country and to Mexico and Costa Rica.
He worked at the Ford Motor Company in Lima, Ohio, where he was respected for his work ethic. Before his diagnosis, he was working toward his skilled trades certification as an electrician, a goal he pursued with determination and pride.
Those who knew Benny will remember his sense of humor, his sense of playfulness, and his quiet determination to keep going through lifes challenges. Even through his toughest moments, he faced challenges with courage and resilience, inspiring those around him more than he may have ever realized. His life, though far too short, was filled with meaning, connection, and moments that will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
He is survived by his parents Benny Ray Beavers Sr. and Sheila Margaret Beavers; and his sisters Jennifer Tester (William Harris) and Stephanie Beavers (Daniel Parrey).
Visitation will be Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Tim Grigsby and Bro. Austin Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
