Obituary of Constance Jean Pilgrim

Constance Jean “Connie” Pilgrim, 65, of Lexington, AL, passed away March 11, 2026, at UAB Palliative Care in Birmingham, AL. She was a native of Colbert County, AL, and was employed at Essity Tissue Plant. Connie loved fishing and traveling and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: Brothers: Jerry Smith & Ronny Smith (Beth) Sister: Tawna Evans (Joe) Numerous nieces and nephews Preceded in death by: Husband: Thomas Lowell Pilgrim Parents: Donald Reid Smith, Sr. & Shirley Ruth Shelton Smith Brother: Donald Reid Smith, Jr. Visitation will be Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 10:00am – 12:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:00pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Jeff Cruse officiating. Burial will be at Mitchell Cemetery, Anderson, AL. Pallbearers: Paden Smith, Casey Pulliam, Chasley Smith, Jeremy Mathis, Brian Santos & Heath Minor. The family would like to say a special “thank you” to Beth Smith and Lueann Roberts for their care of Connie during her illness, and UAB Oncology, Palliative Care and UAB CCU.
