Obituary of Mildred Alene Garrison

Mildred Alene Garrison, 98, of Lexington, AL, passed away at her home on March 1, 2026. Mildred was a retired seamstress for M. Fine Manufacturing. She attended Peppertown Freewill Baptist Church. Her church and church family always held a special place in her heart.
Mildred enjoyed gardening, in particular tending her flower garden. She also liked cooking and baking for her family, especially preparing Sunday dinner for them.
Mildred is survived by:
Son: Barry Keith Garrison (Rose)
Daughter: Loretta Garrison Lee
Grandchildren: Jerry Griffin, Jody Griffin, Tasha Garrison, and Vanessa Czolada

Daughter-In-Law: Charlotte Garrison
She was preceded in death by:
Parents: Noah Andrew Barnett & Rachel Johnson Barnett
Husband: Elvin Carson Garrison
Son: Ronald Garrison
Brothers: Hubert Barnett & Milton Barnett
Sister: Christine Hollis
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 4, 2026 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 P.M. with Brandon Stutts and Matthew Hollis officiating. Burial will be in Richardson Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Philip Barnett, Buddy Barnett, William Barnett, Matthew Hollis, Phillip McGee, and Robert Wallace.
