I really enjoyed knowing Mike and working with him. His hearty laughter would always make me smile. He loved his family very much. He treasured Tina, we usually got a report of what she wanted to do around the house and he wanted to do those things for her. He loved his girls and always talked about them. He kept us updated on Stella and what she was doing. Mike didn’t have any sons, but he loved Raleigh and Tim as much as if you were his own. I’ll miss the man to man advice he offered to me from time to time. Mike was a coworker, but he was more than that to me. He was my friend. I’ll miss you my friend.

I loved working with Mike I loved hearing talk about his wife and grandchildren. He loved his dogs and those chickens. Most of all I’ll miss that deep hearty laugh he had I could always tell it was him. I wish I had known him longer but I’ll sure miss you brother.

Your presence on this earth will be dearly missed. Like others I’m sure, I too am looking forward to the day we all get to reunite in Heaven. Your laughter was infectious. The way you carried yourself as a man, & a father, was admirable. At the forefront of all of that though - your patience, understanding, & just being there for others truly stood out as top tier qualities. I remember my last ride in a truck with just us - you spoke about how much peace you experienced in Alabama & how much better you felt. I’m glad you were able to experience serenity here on this earth, even if it was for a short while. Fly high my brother.

I remember growing up in Tampa. Mike, Kathy and I were more like siblings than cousins. The three of us would put gospel albums on the record player, grab our hair brushes and sing our hearts out. We were sure we were going to be famous one day. Mike helped get me through a pretty rough childhood. Tina, Audrey, Ashley, Tiffany, Chuck and Mark I love you guys and I am so sorry for your loss.
