Connie Sue Spurlock, age 74, of Lexington, AL, passed from this life Saturday, January 24, 2026 after an extended illness. She had a heart of gold with an unsurpassed love for family and friends. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, nana, sister, and friend. She was the absolute best daughter ever, lovingly attending to her late Mother’s every need at all times. She will be missed and leaves a chest full of wonderful memories.
Sue was preceded in death by:
Father: Houston Holden
Step-father: William Thigpen
Mother: Ruby Holden Thigpen
Brothers: Lenice Eugene Holden, Jimmy O. Holden, and Lonnie K. Holden
She is survived by:
Husband: Howard Spurlock
Daughters: Bridgett Meek (Keith) and Cathy Huett (David)
Son: Dwayne Spurlock
Sister: Ann Gray (Harold)
(7) Grandchildren, (6) Greatgrandchildren and one on the way
A Memorial will be held for Sue on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home.
