William Dale Hess, 87, of Toney, AL, passed away January 21, 2026. Dale was a native of Scottsboro, AL and was a retired Accountant. He loved playing golf, selling used cars, and watching all kinds of sports. Dale was a United States Naval Veteran.
Dale is survived by:
Wife of 62 Years: Kaye Burks Hess
Sons: William Todd Hess & Christopher Joey Hess (and very special daughter-in-law Michelle Hess)
Grandchildren: Christopher Ryan Hess & Christian Daniel Hess (Laci)
He was preceded in death by:
Parents: Cal Hess and Ora Childress Hess
Brother: C.G. Hess
There will be a graveside service for Dale on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. at Lone Cedar Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Bro. Stan Dean will officiate the service.
