Obituary of Walcie Marie Crosslin

Walcie Crosslin, 93, of Killen, AL, passed away January 12, 2026. Walcie was born in Lauderdale County, AL to Frank and Mattie Wilson on September 14, 1932. She had three brothers (Orlean, Lloyd and Bobby Wilson) and one sister (Juanita Crosslin) who preceded her in death. She was married to the late Walter Crosslin and raised seven children together. Her survivors include her sons G.W., Lynn (Ramona), Mike (Jan), Keith (who was preceded in death by the late Denise Crosslin), and Reshea Cromwell (Michael). Mama had (13) grandchildren, (24) great-grandchildren, and (2) great-greatgrandchildren. She was so blessed to be called Mother, Grandmother, Mamaw and Nanny. She meant so much to each and everyone. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service following this at 1:30 P.M. at Center Hill Cemetery with Chaplain Garry Lovette officiating. Burial will be in Center Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Crosslin, Keith Crosslin, Rusty Crosslin, Michael Cromwell, Matt Mazurek, and Cody Stephens. Honorary pallbearer will be Champ Stephens. The family would like to especially thank Dr. David Brown, Elizabeth Oswalt and the entire staff at F.M.A. Gentiva Hospice-especially Steven Saucer and Chaplain Garry Lovette for all your visits and prayers, and also to Heather, Jeff, Emma, Demanika, Renea, and Caitlin Williams-to each and every one who helped in the care of our Mama, you all mean so much to all of us.
