Wayne Hines, 79, of Florence, passed away January 4, 2026, at North Alabama Medical Center. He was retired from the Lauderdale County Road Department and was a long-time member and elder at Stutts Road Church of Christ. Anyone that knew Dad knows how much he loved visiting and talking with family and friends. He never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face. Wayne enjoyed watching and attending sporting events, but his favorite hobby was any and everything that involved his grandchildren – Kirby, Jordan and Lizzie. He was their biggest supporter and rarely missed any of their events.
