Lyda Ruth Jeffrey League Sypolt, 92, of Florence, AL, passed away December 11, 2025, at NAMC. Lyda was a retired Hairdresser and a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Florence. She was a very loving person and wonderful mother.
Lyda is survived by:
Sons: Shane League and Mike League (Shelia)
Sister: Fay Ellen Posey (Hubert)
Grandchildren: Chris League (Tatiana), Jennifer League (Marcus), and Jeremy League (Sarah)
Several Great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by:
Parents: Soloman Marshell Jeffrey and Lillian O. Jackson Jeffrey Goodwin
Husbands: Ray O. League and Charles Sypolt
Daughter: Raylene League
Brothers: Jewell Wyatt Jeffrey, Ulyesses Leslie Jeffrey, Aubrey Gene Jeffrey, and Hillard Thomas Jeffrey
Sister: Irene Moore
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Tim Grigsby officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
