Obituary of Prue Davis Mitchell Kelley

Prue Davis Mitchell Kelley, 81, of Killen, AL passed away October 12, 2025, at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. She was a Homemaker, substitute teacher, Bible Class Teacher, artist and worked with the jail ministry for many years. She volunteered with the North Alabama Christian Children’s Home and the Tennessee Valley Art Association. Prue was a member of Centerhill Church of Christ. Survivors include: Children: Jerry Glen Mitchell, Jr. (Melissa), Lorinda Mitchell Snoddy (Eric), and Jonathan Mitchell Grandchildren: Patrick Wilson, Loren Mitchell Coan (Kade), Justin Mitchell (Kaylie), Jake Mitchell, and Erica (Meira) Snoddy Great-grandchildren: Amelie (Millie) Coan, Adelin (Addie) Coan, and Huntley Mitchell Siblings: Judy Swinea (Roy), Marion (Sonny) Thomas Davis, Jr. (Brenda), Joan E. Davis, Melvin Davis, and Frances Haggermaker (Doug) Prue was preceded in death by: Husbands: Jerry G. Mitchell, Sr. and Lee Roy Kelley Parents: Tommie Davis and Susie Elizbeth Davis Siblings: Brenda Kay Thompson, Joyce Davis, and William Davis Visitation will be Tuesday, October 14 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday, Oct 15, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Greg Dial officiating. Burial will be in North Carolina Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Mitchell, Jake Mitchell, Patrick Wilson, Kade Coan, Dylan Nelms, and Jonathan Mitchell.
