Sondra Marie Augustin Methvin, 92, of Loretto, TN, passed away July 31, 2025 at her residence. She was a mother and homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Loretto, a member of the Loretto Lioness Club, and a member of the Wildflower Society.
Survivors include:
Husband: Ray E. Methvin, MD
Sons: Ray Methvin, Jr. (Mary), Nathan Methvin (Sarah), Jeff Methvin (Susan), and Russell Methvin
Grandchildren: Lawren, Will, Connor, Caroline, John, Sam, and Phoebe
Great grandchildren: Landon, Owen, Courtney, Aggie, Marlowe, and Stella
Preceded in death by:
Parents: Karl J. Augustin & Genevieve Reynolds Augustin
Brothers: Karl Augustin, Jr, Kenny Augustin
Visitation will be on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, from 10:30am – 12:00pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The funeral mass will follow at 12:00pm at the church with Rev. Daniel J. Steiner officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Loretto.
Pallbearers will be: Will Methvin, Connor Methvin, Sam Methvin, John Methvin, Landon Gabel & Owen Gabel.
