Obituary of Janice Marie O'Kelley

Janice Marie Clemmons O’Kelley, 78, of Killen, AL, passed away at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home on August 1, 2025. Janice was a loving housewife and mother and a member of Woodlawn Church of Christ. Janice enjoyed teaching Bible class for many years and also loved giving tea parties. Janice is survived by: Son: Zachary O’Kelley Daughter-In-Law: Heather O’Kelley Sister: Paulette Youngblood Grandchildren: Kayley, Emily, and Megan She was preceded in death by: Parents: John Curtis Clemmons and Myrtle Pearline Jones Clemmons Husband: Claude Windell “Sonny” O’Kelley Son: Leslie O’Kelley Sister: Cathy Clemmons Grandchild: Eleanor Katheryne O’Kelley Visitation will be Sunday, August 3, 2025 from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at Woodlawn Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 P.M. at the church with Bro. Ken Davis and Bro. Matt Heupel officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh O’Kelley, Daniel O’Kelley, Justin Spann, Michael Youngblood, Brady Youngblood, and Drew Youngblood. The family would like to especially thank all the administration and patients at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home with special thanks to Rosie Mitchell and Ronnie.
