Obituary of Gregory Keith Springer

Gregory Keith Springer, 71, of Greenhill passed away March 6th, 2025 peacefully at his home. Greg was a loving husband and father and was a member of the Greenhill First Baptist Church family. He enjoyed spending time at most racetracks and was an avid NASCAR fan. Greg served 6 years in the U.S. Army followed by 18 years in the Alabama Army National Guard as a part of HHC 115th Signal Battalion. Greg is survived by his wife, Brenda Springer, his son, Andrew Springer (Ragen), his stepson Christian Clemons (Johanna), his brother, Barry Springer (Carlotta), life-long friend, Phillip Shannon, 3 grandchildren, Madison, Madalyn and Will, and one great granddaughter, Lottie. He is preceded in death by his father, James E. “Tad” Springer, his mother, EunaBelle McKee Springer, his brother, Rodney Lynn Springer, and sister-in-law Janice Springer. There will be a celebration of life ceremony at Greenhill First Baptist Church on March 9th at 2pm.
