Obituary of Marjorie Oliver Jones

Marjorie Nell Oliver Jones, 85, of Killen, AL, went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2025 at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. Marjorie was a member of Atlas Church of Christ. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was loved by all who knew her. Marjorie loved her family and others with unconditional love. She was a kind, caring, Christian lady and did her best to live for the Lord. Marjorie loved her sweet Mike so much and he was her best friend and her sunshine. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Marjorie is survived by: Children: Michael Jones, Anthony Jones, and Dana May (Dale) Brother: Don Oliver Grandchildren: Nicholas Jones (Chelsey), Tanner Jones, Morgan May, and Cody May (7) Great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by: Parents: Gus Clyde Oliver and Mary Barbra McGee Oliver Husband: Arvel Jones Son: Rex Jones Sister-In-Law: Joanie Oliver Visitation will be Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel with Bro. Miles Stutts and Bro. Tim Grigsby officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. The family would like to especially thank Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home and Cedar View Assisted Living for all the love and care they have shown to the Jones family.
