Grant Turner Nelson, 75, passed away February 20, 2025 at Glenwood Healthcare in Florence, AL. Grant was a retired nursing assistant at Glenwood Healthcare. He was born June 7, 1949 in Colbert County, AL to the late Turner Lee Nelson and Ila Mae Nelson.
Grant is survived by:
Daughter: Melanie Jones of Killen, AL
Grandchildren: Molly Bogus & Ashtyn Bogus, both of Killen, AL; and Justin Breshears and wife Kelsey & James Smith, both of Booneville, MO
Great-grandchildren: Connor and Lillian Breshears
Brother: Richard Lee Nelson
Sisters: Wanda Balentine and May Jean Tubbs
Many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends
He was preceded in death by:
Parents: Turner Lee and Ila Mae Nelson
Daughter: Schrildia Smith
Brothers: Albert Lee Nelson and Billy Ray Nelson
Sisters: Nel Jean Aycock and Betty Ruth Green
