Sandra Gail Bretherick Birchfield, 78, of Florence, passed away February 13, 2025 at North
Alabama Specialty Hospital. She was a retired seamstress from Tee Jay’s and a member of
Greenhill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include:
Husband: Johnny Birchfield
Son: Greg Bretherick (Donnell)
Stepson: Johnny Birchfield II
Stepdaughter: Shonda L. Jerkins (Ben)
Brother: Danny Liles
Grandchildren: Dustin Bretherick, Tyler Bretherick, Brittney Hyde, Natasha White, Cole
Birchfield, Ali Atchley, Meral Thomas, Jack Jerkins
10 great grandchildren
Preceded in death:
Parents: Wesley Zebedee Liles & Lillie Gray Liles
Brothers: David Liles, Charles Liles
Sisters: Willodean Belew, Carolyn Threet, Delora “Toad” Hendrix, Glenda Krewson
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 11am-1pm at Greenhill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow at 1pm in the funeral home chapel, with Trent Salter officiating.
Burial will be at Greenhill Cemetery.
