Obituary of Daniel Dennis LeBlanc

Daniel (Danny) Dennis LeBlanc was born July 6, 1950. He passed away December 26, 2024, at the age of 74.
He is proceeded In Death by his parents Helen Marie LeBlanc (Judd) and Sinclair Lewis LeBlanc, and brother Ricky LeBlanc.
Surviving are his brothers James (Debbie) LeBlanc and Mark (Karen) LeBlanc, His daughter Danielle (Brandon) Pierce and son Steven (Jaime) LeBlanc. Grandchildren Drake Pierce, Brent LeBlanc, Jade Pierce and Reed Pierce. Great Grandchildren are Sarai LeBlanc, Aiden LeBlanc, Alexis LeBlanc, Jayde LeBlanc, Brentley LeBlanc, Karson LeBlanc. Plus, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Danny is a 1968 graduate of Hazel Park High School (MI) where he took multiple state championship titles in wrestling. He also was involved in setting up the Hazel Park youth wrestling program. After graduation he enrolled in the Marine Corp where he served his country in Vietnam for 2 tours. He received 2 purple hearts and ended his career as a Seargent, which he was dismissed with honorable services.
Danny took pride in raising his children and his lifelong career as an auto body tech. He was never bored as he always filled the time up with house projects and eventually building his last home where he did the majority of the work himself. He has had multiple hobbies through the years collecting Buffalo nickels, trains, toys cars and guns. His biggest joy was finding and restoring antique peddle cars. He was a lover of fishing and living close to nature. Dogs were a major part of his life, and he always had at least one dog he took care of.
Danny requested to be cremated, and a service will be held in the Spring with more details to follow
