James Lynn Dunlap, 81, of Florence, AL, passed away September 10, 2021 at his home. James was a native of Rock Island, TN and a retired toolmaker for Ford Motor Company. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and a Legionnaire for 32 years. James was a member of American Legion Post #146 in Loretto, TN. James is survived by: Daughter: Kamela Asher and husband Gary of Killen, AL Daughter-in-law: Terrie and husband Wayne Meadows of Georgia Grandchildren: Frank Asher and wife Heather of Michigan; Jamie Beaber of Georgia; and Marissa Dunlap and Jimmy Moore of Georgia Great-grandchildren: Brooke and Reed Beaber & Carson and Austyn Moore He was preceded in death by: Parents: James Houston Dunlap and Opha Lynn Fisher Dunlap Wife: Kathleen Dunlap Son: Mark Edward Dunlap Visitation will be Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 12-3:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 P.M. with Wayne Martin and Billy Richards officiating. There will be full military honors following the service. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
