Harold Wayne Springer, 63, of Lexington, AL, passed away July 24, 2009, at his residence. He was a member of Mary's Chapel Nazarene Church and an Aluminum Worker at Reynolds Metal Company, and a former U. S. Marine. Survivors include: Wife: Linda Faye Trousdale Springer - Lexington; Son: Tony Quinn Springer - Huntsville; Step-Son: Jason Dane Quillen - Florence; Daughter: Mitzi Lynn Springer - Lexington; Brothers: Jimmy H. Springer - Florence; Robert L. Springer - Florence; Sisters: Frances Killen - Florence; Agnes Kubiszak - Chattanooga; Eleanor Ann Hill - Hampton, TN; Gracie Wilson - Lexington; Linda Lovelace - Florence; Wanda Sue Holden - Lexington. Preceded in death by: Wife: Linda Gail Fowler Springer; Parents: Sharp and Mabel Springer; Brother: Charles F. Springer. Visitation will be Saturday, July 25, from 5:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Sunday, July 26, 2009 at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Marcus Wilson and Randy French officiating. Burial will be in Richardson Chapel Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Pallbearers will be: Randy Meyer, Greg Springer, Ralph Killen, Dale Hayes, Johnny Davis, and Ronnie Young. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dennis Holden, Howard Wilson, Billy Balentine, Millard Shelton, and Jeff Creekmore. Greenhill Funeral Home is directing.
