~~Mildred Ruth Miller Purser, 85, of Florence, AL, passed away November 9, 2017 at El Reposo Nursing Home. Mrs. Purser was retired from managing the Wilson School lunchroom and was a member of Salem Church of Christ.

 Mrs. Purser is survived by:

   Virginia Ball
  Grandchildren: Chris Purser & Amy Witt

 She was preceded in death by:
  
  Parents: Acy Monroe Miller & Annie Bell Hanback Miller
  Husband: Paul Purser
  Brothers: Charles Curbow & J.W. Chambers
  Sister: Juanita McDonald
 
 Visitation will be Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Sunday at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Ellis Coats officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

 Pallbearers will be Ricky Curbow, David Curbow, Michael Curbow, Evan Witt, and Lance Collier.

 The family would like to thank El Reposo’s God sent staff.

 Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
