James Hollon “Red” Weaver, 78, of Iron City, TN, passed away April 2, 2017 at his home. Mr. Weaver was a retired Pipefitter/Welder. He also owned and operated Weaver Batteries Inc. for many years. He was a member of Iron City First Baptist Church, Pipefitter Local #760, and Stainless Lodge #580 F & AM Masonic Lodge in Iron City. Mr. Weaver is survived by: Son: Brett Weaver and wife Amy Granddaughter: Savannah Weaver Sister: Mona Butler and husband J.D. Step-sons: Tim Hanback and wife Kim Stan Hanback and wife Darlene Step-grandchildren: Ben, Katie, Noel, Donnie Joe, and Shaun Hanback (2) step-great grandchildren Several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by: Parents: James Howard Weaver and Martha Lucille Williams Weaver Wives: Patricia Franklin Weaver and Marie Stooksberry Weaver Step-mother: Eula Mae Weaver Visitation will be Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Tim Hanback and Wesley Franklin officiating. Burial will be in Hollis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to: Gideon’s International P.O. Box 371 Lawrenceburg, TN 38464 Greenhill Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
