Vernice Cile McMurtrey, 90, of Killen, AL, passed away at her home April 2, 2017. Mrs. McMurtrey was a homemaker and member of Centerhill Church of Christ. Mrs. McMurtrey is survived by: Sons: Wade McMurtrey of Killen Terry McMurtrey (Bonita) of Lexington, AL Harold McMurtrey (Cheryl) of Killen Daughter: Patricia Harrison (Leon) of Killen Sisters: Bonnie Clemons & Jean Wilkerson, both of Killen (9) Grandchildren & (11) Great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by: Parents: Johnny and Nellie Bradley Husband: William J. McMurtrey Son: William N. McMurtrey Visitation will be Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Centerhill Church of Christ with Bro. Wayne Kilpatrick officiating. Burial will be in Centerhill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Russell Harrison, Kendall Harrison, Derrick McMurtrey, Matt McMurtrey, Gavin McMurtrey, and Robert Walton. Greenhill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
